On July 23, 2026, D-0. held a Field Work session at Hamano Products Co., Ltd. This session was part of a collaborative program with Hamano Products, which joined D-0. as a partner this year.
Through Modules 1 and 2, D-0. participants had deepened their Question / Passion (Q/P) and Grand Vision, and had begun considering the actions they would take next. This Field Work aimed to help them move from ideas expressed in words to an initial prototype that could be shown to others and used to gather feedback.

Through a factory tour and a special lecture by Hamano Products, participants learned how ideas take shape through consultation, design, fabrication, prototyping, and refinement. They then worked on clarifying who they should show their concept to, what they should present, in what form, and what they wanted to learn from it, while discussing their plans with members of Hamano Products and D-0. mentors.
Participants shared that the session helped them “see the process more clearly” and “understand what to test next.” Through discussions with Hamano Products, they also recognized the importance of communicating not only the envisioned final product, but also the intended audience, priority functions, and required levels of strength and precision in specific words and measurable terms.

Through this Field Work, participants developed initial forms for testing their concepts, including simple demonstrations, mock-ups, one-page illustrations, service flows, and physical samples. D-0. will continue to connect participants’ concepts with manufacturing sites, helping them turn questions into prototypes and prototypes into steps toward social implementation.
