On July 29, 2026, D-0. held a Field Work session with Vidacity, which joined D-0. this year as a community partner in Singapore.
Through the previous modules 1 and 2, D-0. participants had deepened their Question / Passion (Q/P) and Grand Vision, and had begun exploring how their ideas could be developed into concrete actions. This fieldwork aimed to help participants understand the local innovation ecosystem led by Vidacity, including its partners and incubated startups, while learning how early-stage ideas can be supported through prototyping and collaboration.
During the visit, participants toured Vidacity’s facilities: research and testing grounds for environmental solutions, hydroponics, mycelium cultivation spaces, a prototyping lab, and a fabrication lab. They were also introduced to startups incubated within the Vidacity ecosystem, gaining insight into how ideas are developed from 0 to 1 through testing, iteration, and hands-on experimentation. The session helped participants consider what kind of support they may need next, who they should approach, and how to begin taking practical steps toward developing their ideas.
Participants shared that the visit helped them “understand who to contact when they want to start working on their ideas”. Those focusing on environmental solutions commented that they would “definitely contact Vidacity immediately after the visit,” while participants working on other themes reflected that they learned how they could reach out to relevant prototyping partners for their own fields.
Through this fieldwork, D-0. created an opportunity for participants to connect their questions and visions with a local ecosystem that supports prototyping, experimentation, and early-stage venture development. D-0. will continue to support participants in finding the right partners, resources, and environments to turn their ideas into tangible steps toward social implementation.
